Once upon a time...

a fairy godmother noticed a problem. Because, you see, there were all these fairy tales happening across these various kingdoms. A beautiful princess pricks her finger and falls into an enchanted sleep, only to be awakened by the kiss of her one true love. Frogs speak; and they are transformed into princes upon receiving the gentle kiss of a fair maiden. A brave knight charges and kills a ferocious dragon. These are the stuff that legends of made of; the tales that people will talk about for years.

But wouldn't it be better if these people were trained ahead of time? Why, they should receive the education to put them on their path. Princes should be taught how to save damsels. Princesses should learn to be damsels. And villains should be properly educated in the ways of kidnapping damsels. Who better to start this education but a fairy godmother?

So she opened the school. The LaLune School for the Legendarily Inclined. There students from across the kingdoms would come and follow the strict curriculum. For the faculty at LaLune, particularly the fairy godmother, know precisely what's best for everyone.

Before Ever After is a play by post roleplaying forum built around the idea of reliving fairy tales... with a twist. Here the classic tales we all know and love would meet one another, and a handful of tales that none before have heard. They would all be exposed to a strict curriculum and taught the best way to achieve their happily ever after. That's not to say that the students willingly follow these orders... and there certainly seems to be a lot of rebellion going on these days...
